Please take care of our trophies. Many were donated to the Festival.

They are solid silver, silver plate or pewter.
The silver or silver plate trophies should be cleaned with a non-abrasive, proprietary silver cleaner, which is
widely available from supermarkets, or a soft cloth.

The pewter trophies require little maintenance other than wiping with a clean, soft cloth.
If necessary, they can be washed in warm, soapy water, or in a mild detergent solution and dried with a soft cloth.
Under no circumstances should they be cleaned with abrasive materials or put in a dishwasher.
If you are unsure what your trophy is made of please contact a member of the festival committee or email.

Return of Trophies
Don’t forget the new arrangements for returning trophies in 2008 are as follows:
All trophies should be returned to the Festival address:
Ash Tree House, Grants Close
Tongwynlais, Cardiff  CF15 7NG
On one of the following dates:
Saturday 1st March 2008 10am – 2pm
Saturday 8th March  2008 2pm – 6pm

Trophies must not be engraved. Engraving will be arranged by the Festival Committee and undertaken by the official engravers, Porter’s Wholesale Jewellers.
Trophies will be engraved at the special Festival rate of £2.50. Please bring this with you when you return the trophy.
