SGFYM Trophy Care Policy

Please take care of our trophies. Many were donated to the Festival.

They are solid silver, silver plate or pewter.

The silver or silver plate trophies should be cleaned with a non abrasive, proprietary silver cleaner, which is widely available from supermarkets, or a soft cloth.

The Pewter trophies require little maintenance other than wiping with a clean, soft cloth.

If necessary, they can be washed in warm, soapy water or in a mild detergent solution and dried with a soft cloth.

Under no circumstances should they be cleaned with abrasive materials or put in a dishwasher.

If you are unsure what your trophy is made of please contact a member of the Festival Committee or email.

TROPHY RETURNS NEW ARRANGEMENTS *

Please note the new arrangements for returning trophies.

SATURDAY 6th MARCH 2010, any time between 9.30am and 1.30pm

to:

The Hulland Room, (Main Building)

The Cathedral School,

 Llandaff, Cardiff.

All trophy engraving must be arranged by the Festival Committee and undertaken by the official engravers, Porters Wholesale Jewellers.

Trophies will be engraved at the special Festival rate of £5.00 per name.
Please bring this amount with you when you return the trophy.
