TimeLimits, Age categories and Guidelines
TIME LIMITS
Please adhere to the time limits allowed. The programming and adjudicators are precisely scheduled, therefore performers going over time WILL BE STOPPED.
Entrants in classes 46-49 are expected to demonstrate the ability to choose a suitable programme.
Infant 2 Minutes
Junior 3 Minutes
Intermediate 4 Minutes
Senior 5 Minutes
Unaccompanied Bach Single Movement
Song Recital 10 Minutes
Junior Recitalist 7 Minutes
Young Recitalist 10 Minutes
Senior Recitalist 15 Minutes
Jazz Solo 5 Minutes
Composition up to 3 Minutes
AGE GROUPS
These are divided according to Education Authority School Years.
(5th Birthday between 1/9/2007 and 31/8/2008 = Year R; 6th Birthday between these dates = Year 1 etc .
Infant (Class 1) Year 2 and Under
Junior Year 6 and Under
Intermediate Year 9 and Under
Senior 18th Birthday before 31/8/2008

PARENTS AND TEACHERS ARE REMINDED THAT THE SAFETY OF YOUNG PEOPLE AND THEIR
BELONGINGS ARE THEIR RESPONSIBILITY DURING THE FESTIVAL.
WE HAVE DONE OUR BEST TO MAKE SURE THAT YOU CAN KEEP BOTH WITHIN EYE CONTACT
DURING THE FESTIVAL.
